Awkwafina
Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with a series of rap songs which dealt with the subject of race and sexuality. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood when she dropped an album of raps. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first musical encounter. She was a trumpet player. Alongside classical music and jazz, she began studying hip-hop in her teens. Following a focus on education, she graduated with the degree of journalist in the college as well as a women's studies major. After graduating, she began to pursue music as her main focus. The song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in 2012. The track was later included on the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. On the album, there was other hits that went viral, including Queef (body-positive) and NYC Bitchethe cost of $. The track that was published directly connected to Awkwafinas NYC, her guide to travel in 2015. In addition to being a published author as well, she also worked as a performer. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies such as Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018 she was able to land breakthrough roles in a handful of high-profile films such as Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released the EP In Fina We Trust.
